Principal- Rachel Patterson
| Ms. Patterson is a dynamic educational leader with 21 years of experience in public education, including the past eight years in Lamar CISD. Since joining the district, she has served as a teacher, district literacy coach, assistant principal, and, most recently, principal of Hutchison Elementary School. She earned her bachelor's degree from Texas Southern University and her master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. Ms. Patterson is passionate about serving the whole child through meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families. She is committed to fostering strong family and community partnerships that enrich the educational experience and believes in leading with integrity, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to student success. Throughout her career, Ms. Patterson has demonstrated a student-centered leadership style, a commitment to high expectations, and a passion for supporting both students and staff. I am confident she will continue the strong traditions of George Junior High while working collaboratively with our teachers, families, and community to build on the school's success. |
